“I was as proud of these guys as the New Brockton win,” he said. “I’m proud to be on the sidelines with these 13 players that stuck it out with us.”

Jamine Jordan and Jalen Mason accounted for both Calhoun touchdowns. Mason scored on a 50-yard pass play from Jordan and a 20-yard pass from Jordan. Jamarcus Davison scored both 2-point conversions.

The 2A Region 2 Tigers fell to 1-8 on the season and 1-6 in region play while Highland Home improved to 7-2 overall and 5-2 in region play.

Coach Williamson wanted to name all 13 of his players for their effort. They include Kadarius McCall, Jamine Jordan, Keldrick Exford, Jamarcus Davison, Jalen Mason, Curtis Gardner, Trevontae Hardy, John Jenkins, Jesse McCall, Quinton Green, Jermichael Jones, Demetrius Knight and Lenny Lee.

The Tigers will close out the season at home against cross county rival Central at Letohatchee.
