A fatal crash in Montgomery Sunday night claimed the life of a Hayneville man.
According to the Montgomery Police Department, police and fire medics responded to the 4400 block of Selma Highway about 11 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 13 in reference to a crash involving a 2012 Honda Accord and a 2006 Mercedes C230.
According to information provided by Martha T. Earnhardt of the Montgomery Police Department, “ The driver of the Honda Accord, Arce White, 23, of Hayneville sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead on the scene.”
The Montgomery Police Department reports its initial investigation indicates that the two vehicles collided and the Honda Accord left the roadway and came to an uncontrolled rest in the median. It further reports, the driver of the Mercedes was uninjured.
“Accident investigators are working to determine the cause of the crash, and no further information is available for release at this time,”according to Earnhardt.
