The Lowndes County Public Schools held a job fair June 4 at the school system’s central office. By lunch time, more than 20 applicants had stopped by to apply through in-person interviews.
Lowndes County Public Schools Superintendent Samita Jeter said schools will continue seeking qualified candidates for open positions which include elementary and secondary teachers, paraprofessionals, secretaries, counselors, custodians and bus drivers.
