The Alabama Cooperative Extension System recently held a class for Lowndes County residents, teaching them ways to make beautiful wreaths using natural flowers and plants found around their homes and in local gardens. Regional Extension Agent Mallory Kelley taught residents how to incorporate local and some flower shop varieties into their natural grapevine wreaths making festive wreaths for the spring. This “Floral Garden Easter Workshop” was held in Letohatchee on March 26. For more information about holding classes like this with your group, please call our office at 334-548-2315.
