Toys for Tots collects over 18,000 toys

Volunteers with Marine Toys for Tots collected more than 18,00 toys for 4,400 Butler and Lowndes County children this Christmas. According to Project Coordinator Michele Sousa, all work is accomplished by volunteers like herself, Assistant Coordinator Rena Edwards, and the many area residents who lend a helping hand. All toys donated in Lowndes County stay in the area.
