‘O Lord, our Lord, How excellent is your name in all the earth!”    Psalm 8:9 (NKJV)

Take a moment and think of the wonders of creation. Look up to the sun and moon: who tells them to rise and fall at their specific times? Consider the Earth on which we live: who keeps it forever rotating, never losing balance? Notice the animals, insects, flowers, and other landscape: How did they get here? Who gave them such unique features?  The answer to each of these questions is: GOD! God created all things and maintains them. Too often, we get so caught in our day-to-day activities, never pausing to think of the wonders of God’s amazing creation. All of creation is a testament of its creator, God! Our God’s creation is excellent, unlike anything we could ever put together.  Everything made by God is perfect. In moments of doubt, be reminded by creation that God is still with us. Remember, that God not only created the things around us, but also created us. Just as He holds the world together, He is holding your life together.

Prayer

Creator of Heaven and Earth, I am amazed at all you have made. Your work is excellent and beyond anything human hands could make. Help me in moments of doubt to remember your creative ability. I believe you hold my life together just as you hold each part of the universe together. In Jesus’ name, AMEN!
