Lowndes Sheriff’s Office and ABI investigating Mosses shooting

The Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office and the Alabama Bureau of Investigations are investigating a multiple shooting that occurred in Mosses on Monday, April 8.

The Signal learned three people were shot, including one in critical condition, who were all taken to Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, on April 8, “Deputies responded to the Mosses Meat Market, located at 943 Main St. in Mosses, and it was discovered that three people had been shot, with one in critical condition.”

More, “The Lowndes County Sheriff Office, alongwith assistance from the State Bureau of Investigation (ALEA)are handling this investigation.”

The Sheriff’s Office identified the three shooting victims as Shundarious Davis, 19,Bernard Davidson,19, and LaMario Lawrence, 24.

The joint investigation is still ongoingaccording to the Sheriff’s Office and no further information is available.
