Lowndes Academy recognizes 1968 State Champs
The 1968 Lowndes Academy State Championship football team Coached by Mac Champion was honored at halftime of the Lowndes Academy/Clark Prep regional football game played Friday, Oct. 12 in Hayneville.
The 1968 the Lowndes Academy Rebels went 10-0 defeating Catholic Montgomery 42-0, Dadeville 39-0, Marion Military Institute 33-0, Marengo County 61-7, Valley 33-13, Linden 38-13, Daleville 57-6, Dallas County 59-12, Hackleburg 54-13 and Woodland 61-27. They outscored their opponents 477-91.
