The Lowndes Signal has confirmed these important messages: Lowndes Academy and all Lowndes County Public Schools will be closed Monday, Sept. 11 due to the weather.
Darrell Self, headmaster for Lowndes Academy, confirmed Lowndes Academy will be closed tomorrow, Monday (9/11/17) due to the weather.
All scheduled games (pee wee & junior varsity football and volleyball) have been canceled and will be rescheduled for a later date.
The SGA meeting in Montgomery and the grandparent’s breakfast has also been canceled.
The Signal also confirmed with Lowndes County School Superintendent Dr. Daniel Boyd that all Lowndes County Public Schools will also be closed tomorrow, Monday, Sept. 11. And he said a decision will be made later regarding Tuesday.
