Young Anglers Funshop to be held in June

The Alabama Cooperative Extension System (Alabama A&M University and Auburn University) will hold a Young Anglers Funshop, hosted by Beulah Primitive Baptist Church Elder Tom Gardner III, on Thursday, June 22 at the church in Hope Hull.

The event will be held from 4:30-7 p.m. and is free and open to any youth ages 5-16. However, pre-registration is required. And all youth must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times during the event.

Participants should bring bait (worms or crickets), a rod and reel or fishing pole, a chair, insect repellent, sunscreen, sunglasses and drinking water. A meal will be provided, although participants can bring their won. And there will be giveaways.
