In Friday, Oct. 23 Football Action Central spoiled Calhoun’s homecoming while Lowndes Academy went on the road to get its fifth win.
Central spoiled Calhoun’s homecoming 28-26 to improve to 1-8 overall and 1-6 in Class 2A Region 3 play. The regional loss dropped Calhoun 0-9,0-7.
Calhoun will next host non-regional opponent Francis Marion this coming Friday for a chance to close out the season with a win.
Central will host non-regional opponent Keith this Friday.
The 3-3 Class A Region 2 Rebels of Lowndes Academy Rebels improved to 5-4 overall with a 36-28 road win over non-regional opponent Macon East.
The Rebels will close their season out on the road this coming Friday against non-regional opponent Autauga.
