National Park Service brings Junior Ranger Day to White Hall

White Hall, Ala. – In celebration of National Park Week, April 18-26, 2015, the Selma to Montgomery National Historic Trail (SEMO) in partnership with the Montgomery Zoo will host Junior Ranger Day for Youth (6-12 years old) on Friday, April 24, 2015.

The day will begin at 10 a.m. at the Lowndes Interpretive Center and will focus on Wildlife Awareness in Alabama.

Participants will have an opportunity to interact and ask questions about the various animals that will be provided by the Montgomery Zoo, take a photograph with Zoo mascot “Zoobeedoo” and earn a Junior Ranger Day souvenir at the programs conclusion.

Seating for this program is available on a first come, first serve basis.

Participants are asked to arrive no later than 9:45 a.m. and dress accordingly for the outdoor activities and weather.

This event is FREE and promises to be a fun time for all!
