The Rebels went 1-9 overall and 0-6 in Class A Region 1 play in head football coach Todd Bradford’s first season.
In a season in which the Rebels were handicapped by low numbers and injuries, Bradford had good words for way his team finished the game against Autauga.
Quarterback Cody Harrell went 7 for 14 for 151 yards passing and suffered two interceptions.
He threw two touchdown passes to Wade Howard and ran for two touchdowns.
Thomas Ward had 55 yards in pass receptions.
The Rebels gained 125 yards on the ground with Ward gaining 33 yards and both Brandon Reid and Harrell gaining 46 yards each.
On defense Ethan Bennett and Gray Johnson had five tackles, Owen Nall had four, and Calvinar Thomas and Ward had three each.
Nall had one quarterback sack and Ward claimed one fumble recovery.
Harrell was announced as an All-Star and will play in the All-Star game at the Crampton Bowl in Montgomery on Dec. 5
“I am extremely proud of this team and the way the finished the game Thursday,” Bradford said.
