Correction: An article in the Thursday, June 12 issue of The Lowndes Signal about the Sheriff’s Office purchasing vehicles was in error as to the number of vehicles. There were seven vehicles purchased instead of five, which included two 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe Police Packages instead of one and two 2014 Ford Taurus Police Interceptors instead one one. The other vehicles were a 2013 Gray Ford F-150, a 2010 Black Ford Crown Victoria and a 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe Police Police Package. The Lowndes Signal regrets the error and is happy to set the record straight.
