A missing Lowndes County man is home.

Darell Boovia Butler, a 19-year-old black male, was reported to be missing since Christmas Day and last seen leaving his residence on Turner Lane in Lowndesboro around 1 p.m., according to Sheriff John Williams.

However, it turned out he was at a friend’s house in Greenville, according to Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office Investigator M.V. Green.

Williams said, “He showed back up at his residence in Lowndesboro on Turner Lane last night (Sunday) around 7 p.m.”
