Authorities say a Hayneville woman is dead after her car collided with a log truck in Butler County early Tuesday morning.

Sgt. Steve Jarrett with the Alabama State Troopers confirmed that Delores Johnson, 39, was killed in the crash when the 2011 Chevrolet Malibu she was driving struck the trailer of the log truck.

The accident occurred at 5:40 a.m. on Alabama Hwy. 263, approximately four miles north of Greenville.

The crash remains under investigation by the Alabama State Troopers.
