Northern Lowndes County is currently under a severe thunderstorm warning until 4 p.m.

 

At 3:36 p.m., emergency management reported a line of severe thunderstorms producing damaging winds in excess of 60 mph.

These storms were located along a line extending from Benton to White Hall to Mosses,  moving northeast at 35 mph.
