An elderly Louisiana woman was injured in a one

-vehicle accident on Interstate 65 in Lowndes County Saturday afternoon.
According to State Troopers, at approximately 3:20 p.m. Saturday,  Gisela S. Galjour, 73, of Terrytown, La. was

injured when the 2000 Nissan Altima she was driving

left the roadway and struck some trees.
“She was injured and taken to Baptist South Hospital in Montgomery where she was treated for her injuries and released,” said Trooper Greg Eubanks of the Alabama Department of Public Safety.
He said the accident occured  at the 146 mile marker in Lowndes County in the northbound lanes.
