“I think the Blue Ribbon Award is an outstanding award for our school,” said Chuck Insinga, headmaster for Lowndes Academy. “It says that we have great student performance, good teaching, good school life… good community interaction.”

He said this is the fourth year in a row Lowndes Academy has garnered the award, The AISA reports that it has been steadfast in its efforts since 1970 to maintain an organization of independently operated non-public schools that are rich in diversity, committed to academic excellence and deeply concerned about the growth and development of children and youth.

According to the AISA, the program is sponsored to recognize members with outstanding educational programs. And Lowndes Academy has attained a high level of excellence in the area of student and teacher performance, plant and facilities, student life and community involvement.
