Samson takes down Calhoun
The Calhoun Tigers took a step backward Friday night in falling to Samson 28-12 on the road, according to head football coach Bill Williamson.
He said the Tigers scored on 6-yard runs by Mark Robinson and Jamine Jordan. He said Jamichael Jackson led the defense.
The loss following a homecoming victory over New Brockton dropped the Tigers to 1-7 on the year overall and 1-5 in Class 2A Region 2 play.
The Tigers travel to Highland Home for another area battle this coming Friday night.
