Calhoun falls to Goshen
The Calhoun Tigers fell to 0-6 on the season and 0-4 in region play Friday night falling to Goshen in a regional battle 9-0 at home in Letohatchee Friday night.
Yet Calhoun head football coach Bill Williamson had more reason to be proud of his players.
“I was real pleased with how hard our team played,” said Williamson. “They played hard for 48 minutes.”
In a close contest with the Eagles, Williamson said his Tigers had a 60-yard touchdown run by Devel Goldsmith called back, as well as a 60-yard pass play to Jac’qun Caldwell called back.
Goshen improved to 4-2-0 overall and 3-1 in region play.
