Freshman Hunter Johnson had five rush for 60 yards and junior William Nall had four receptions for 43 yards.

“We played a lot better game,” said Lowndes Academy head football coach Art Sullivan after last week’s trashing at the hands of Glenwood. “Our intensity was better tonight. We did not make as many mistakes as last week. We shut them out in the second half. So, our defense picked it up in the second half. I’m real proud of them. Looked like we improved in all aspects of the game.”

Next up for the Rebels is a road trip to Wilcox Central.
