The 2A Calhoun School Tigers fell to Zion Chapel 47-0 in a region game on the road Friday night.
Still, head football coach Bill Williamson found a bright spot.
He said, “The kids didn’t quit.” He also said he found a kid who “can play” in Jamarcus Davison, a 5′ 9″ freshman quarterback and safety.
Williamson said his Tigers had one touchdown called back on them.
Things don’t get any easier for the 0-2 Tigers from Letohatchee as they host the Elba Tigers in another region contest this coming Friday night.
Elba is 2-0 and defeated Goshen 26-12.
