The Gordonville Town Council wants more information on a possible grant to fund a lift (pumping) station for the town’s future connection to a sewer lagoon in Mosses.
At the council’s regular meeting Saturday morning, Gordonville Mayor Willie C. Davis asked Town Clerk Brenda Davis to set up an information seeking meeting with Tiffany Horton of the South Central Alabama Development Commission to discuss a possible Delta Regional Authority grant for that purpose.
In other matters, Brenda Davis reported that Randy Lawson requested information as to the procedure to get a business license for a T-shirt business on Blue Hill Road.
The only action taken by the council was to approve the minutes and to adjourn.
The next regular Gordonville Town Council meeting will be held July 9.
