Lowndes County residents will have an opportunity to ask questions and give comments to U.S. Sen. Richard Shelby (R-Ala.) at 10 a.m. at the Hayneville Public Library on Tuesday.

Sen. Shelby’s visit will be open to the public at the library located at 4 Washington St.

According to Shelby’s office, he will address the legislative agenda for the first session of the 112th Congress as well as important issues facing the nation and the state.

“Over the years, these meetings have provided an excellent opportunity for area residents to listen and voice their opinions on the activities of our government,” said Shelby.
