On October 25, a special Pumpkin Patch Field Trip is scheduled for the Head Start children as part of the month’ s activities.

Elected Officials and Community Partners Adopt a Classroom Week will be held from October 26-29, 2010.

The Lowndes County Board of Education Head Start would like to invite all elected officials and community partners throughout the county to donate a little of their time to adopt a classroom and read to the students.

Judge Terri Bozeman and Judge John Hulett are two officials that have participated in the annual event.
