Law enforcement officials are working to reach a conclusion in the shooting death of a young woman on the night of Oct. 19.

The shooting took place inside an apartment where the young lady was staying at the John Hulett Townhomes in Hayneville, said Hayneville Police Chief Kelvin Mitchell.

The victim’s name is not being released at this time and Mitchell offered no comment as to if any suspects are being investigated in connection with the shooting.
