Woman thrown from truck bed

A woman was thrown from the bed of a pickup truck while traveling along Highway 80 toward Montgomery Sept. 16.
Evelyn Anderson was rushed to Baptist South hospital after she was thrown into the median of Highway 80 E from the bed of the pickup truck she was riding in, according to EMA Director Walter Hill.
The incident happened across from the Southern Star Gaming Center in White Hall.
Hill said the woman was lying on a mattress in the back of the truck accompanying a refrigerator and that the mattress and refrigerator were thrown out along with Anderson into the median of Highway 80 E.
