A single-vehicle crash Tuesday claimed the life of a Lowndes County woman.
Corporal Jess Thornton of the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency said a single-vehicle accident at 10:28 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 1, claimed the life of a Letohatchee woman.
He said, “Rebecca Dove Dennard, 32, was killed when the 2000 Buick she was driving left Lowndes County 37, five miles south of Letohatchee, and struck a tree.”
He said Dennard was pronounced dead at the scene.
Thornton said nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
