Family Kickball
Freight Path LLC and All Smiles Pressure Washing presents the 6th annual Kick Ball event July 5, 3:30 p.m. the Hayneville Park, 40 Peoples Street in Hayneville. Free food, music and bounce houses. No smoking or adult beverages allowed at this free, family friendly event.
Community Day
Imago Dei Church at 141 Maple Street in White Hall will host community day with giveaways of clothing, shoes and home decor. Chiropractor, Dr. Brian West will be offering free chiropractic services. Lunch will also be provided.
Football Camp
Imago Dei Church and All In Sports Outreach present a free summer football camp July 7 – 9m 4 to 7 p.m. at the church located at 141 Maple Street in White Hall. Ages five to 18 are welcome. All participants will be required to fill out a liability waiver.
Summer Reading
The Hayneville Public Library will host a summer reading program starting every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday through July 18, 1 – 3 p.m. There will be story hours, arts and crafts, refreshments and prizes. For more information or to volunteer, call Rutha Davis-Bonner at (334) 548-2686.
Parenting Together
The Family Service Center of Lowndes County offers intensive co-parenting services for mothers and fathers working together to nurture their children. Pre-K Program
First Years Child Development Center, First Class Pre-K offers a free 4-year-old program from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. for working parents and 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for non-working parents. Classes start in August. Space is limited. Call Katina Surles at (334) 281-8627 for more information.
LCUWP Applications
The Lowndes County Unincorporated Wastewater Project is accepting applications for septic system installation or repair at its office located at 507 W. Tuskeena Street in Hayneville. Call (334) 548-2006 or stop by Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for an application.
Head Start

DAV Meetings

Alumni Basketball

School Rally
Lowndes County Public Schools will host their annual Back to School Rally Saturday, Aug. 2, 8 to 10 a.m. at Russell Baseball Field, 403 Highway 97 South in Hayneville. Fall Festival
Fall at the Fort: A Holiday Festival is set for Nov. 8, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Calico Fort in Fort Deposit. Come enjoy arts and crafts exhibitions, a car show, food, children’s activities and more. Tickets are $5 for adults, $2 for children.
