Pioneer Electric Cooperative held a free ice cream social at Antioch Baptist Church in Mount Willing on Tuesday afternoon, passing out sweet, cool treats so members could ask questions about energy usage and their membership with Pioneer Electric. 

“We wanted to have an opportunity to meet and interact with our members outside of the office,” said Pioneer Communications Director Christi Scruggs. “This gives us an opportunity to meet our members in their community, bring them a sweet treat and show our members how much we appreciate their support.” 

Scruggs expressed the energy provider’s gratitude for Greenville-based Sugar Rush for serving the ice cream and Antioch Baptist Church making its facility available to host the event.
