On Pentecost Sunday, we come together to celebrate a significant moment for the church: the day the Holy Spirit was poured out on the apostles. This marked the beginning of the church and took place 50 days after Easter. The Holy Spirit gave the apostles the strength to share Jesus’ teachings with everyone.
As we gather this Sunday, let’s take a moment to think about how the Holy Spirit can change our lives and our community. Pentecost reminds us to share God’s message with love, peace, and unity. We have the chance to help our church and the world around us grow with the Good News of Jesus Christ. Let’s come together in celebration this Sunday! Don’t forget to wear red on Sunday.
