The Lowndes Signal has a paid opening for a high school summer intern. The successful candidate will be driven, dependable and interested in discovering careers in journalism.

High school students who are current or rising juniors or seniors are invited to apply for the internship. The student must have a valid driver license and dependable transportation to attend events for coverage of summer sports, meetings and events. A proven ability to write coherently and willingness to learn journalism formatting are a must. The selected student will be required to meet deadlines and work alongside other newsroom staff to write and revise articles for printing in The Lowndes Signal and on our website, www.lowndessignal.com.
