A single-vehicle crash involving a vehicle that caught on fire occurred at approximately 11:35 a.m. Friday, May 9, and caused lane closure. By 12:30 p.m. the scene had cleared and the roadway was reopened

The outside northbound lane of U.S Interstate Highway 65 near the 156 mile marker in Lowndes County was closed while Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division investigated and worked to clear the scene.
