* Lily Missionary Baptist Church on Alabama Highway 97 in Letohatchee welcomes all churches and communities to join them for Mayfest Saturday, May 10, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. All ages welcome for fun, food, music, games and prizes.

* Lily Missionary Baptist Church invites the community to join a pastoral installation service for Rev. Chad Richardson on Sunday, May 25 at 2 p.m. The guest speaker is Rev. Walter E. Ellis from Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church in Montgomery.

* Calvary Church at 6000 US Highway 80 East in Lowndesboro will host its 11th Anniversary and Founder’s Day Celebration Sunday, June 1 at 2 p.m. to honor Overseer Dr. Franklin Nettles, Lady Teresa Nettles and Calvary Church Partners. Guest speaker is Dr. Marcus Hunter, New Hope Missionary Baptist Church.
