Calico Fort

The Fort Deposit Arts Council presents the 53rd Annual Calico Fort Arts and Crafts Fair April 12, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and April 13, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults, $2 for children 3 – 18. Free petting zoo and children’s area available. Come out to enjoy music, food, shopping and more.

Pre-K Program

First Years Child Development Center, First Class Pre-K offers a free 4-year-old program from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. for working parents and 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for non-working parents. Classes start in August. Space is limited. Call Katina Surles at (334) 281-8627 for more information.

LCUWP Applications

The Lowndes County Unincorporated Wastewater Project is accepting applications for septic system installation or repair at its office located at 507 W. Tuskeena Street in Hayneville. Call (334) 548-2006 or stop by Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for an application.

Head Start
