Armarda Rudolph has been voted Lowndes County Athlete of the Week for Week 19. She is a senior at The Calhoun School. She is a member of the Tigers’ Cheer Squad and plays with the Lady Tigers softball team. Rudolph also maintains a 3.0 grade point average.
Rudolph earned the honor this week by capturing 37%, 121 out of 331 votes cast in the contest.
Kinlee Dismukes at Lowndes Academy and Ryan Simpson from Central High School were also nominated for their athleticism and setting the standard for excellence on and off the field. Congratulations to Dismukes and Simpson for being nominated this week.
Athlete of the Week is made possible by the joint efforts of The Lowndes Signal and Lowndes County Public Schools Athletic Director Ervin Starr and sponsors, the Black Belt Unincorporated Wastewater Program and the Hayneville QV, as well as the cooperation of the coaches and administration of Central High School, Lowndes Academy, and The Calhoun School.
