The staff at Jackson-Steele Head Start assisted the students in Pre-K Classrooms 1 and 2 to have a “Pink Out “activity on Oct. 25. The activity was held as a way to raise awareness for breast cancer and support those affected by the disease. Classroom 1 teacher, Mrs. Heatley, and assistant teachers, Ms. Wheeler, worked alongside Classroom 2 teacher, Ms. Webb, assistant teacher, Ms. Walker and family advocate practitioner Ms. Peterson for the event.
