Community Partner, Troy University, will host students for five nights on the university’s main campus and provide travel on the Warrior bus to daily sessions at a variety of academic and health facilities throughout Southeast Alabama.
The week-long program will immerse young learners into the everchanging world of healthcare and give students insight on educational requirements for medical careers from health care professionals and upper-level students through a variety of hands-on activities.
The application is available online @ www.seaahec.org. All application steps must be completed, as outlined, before the deadline to apply on April 7, 2017, for students to be considered for the program. Limited slots are available.
Southeast Alabama AHEC is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization located in Montgomery and is one of five regional centers that, together with the Program Office, comprise the Alabama Statewide AHEC Program [ASAP].
