A single-vehicle crash today, Aug. 2, claimed the life of a Lowndesboro man, State Troopers report.
“William Scott Callen, 55, was killed when the 2006 Freightliner he was driving left the roadway, overturned and caught fire,” said Trooper Kevin Cook of the Public Information/Education Unit of the Alabama Department of Public Safety,
He said the crash occurred at 10:40 a.m. on Dallas County 19 four miles southeast of Tyler.
Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
