The Central High varsity boys and girls improved their seasons to identical 14-7 records with wins over Lanier tonight (Monday, Jan. 20).

The varsity boys defeated Lanier 69-60.

Leading scorers for Cental were Markeazz Holcombe with 21 points and both Edmond Johnson and Marcus Mitchell with 18 points each.

The Lady Lions defeated Lanier 35-28.

Top scorers for Central were K. McPherson with 12 and F. Brown with 10.

The Lions face Luverne at home Thursday night.
