Lowndes County Public Schools and Lowndes Academy are both closed Monday and Tuesday, Jan. 6-7 due to the cold weather.
Lowndes County School Superintendent Dr. Daniel Boyd has confirmed Lowndes County Public Schools will be closed Monday and Tuesday due to the cold weather expected.
It has also been confirmed by school officials that Lowndes Academy will be closed Monday and Tuesday as well.
