Fund-raiser to help with surgical expenses for Kerstin

An Open Door Musical Benefit Program Fund-raiser to help with surgery related expenses for Kerstin Willetta Sanders will be held Sunday, Sept. 29 at 3 p.m. at Bougahoma Missionary Baptist Church.
Kerstin is an 11-year-old sixth grader in the Lowndes County Public School System who has been diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy and Scoliosis.
In November, Kerstin will undergo surgery at Birmingham Children’s Hospital,which will be her third surgery this year. She is expected to be in the hospital for at least one week.
Donations will assist with travel expenses to and from Birmingham for her surgery and appointments.
All choirs, groups, and soloists are invited and asked to “sing your hearts out!”
To those cannot attend, prayers and donations will be appreciated.
