Calhoun wins Christmas Tournament

The Calhoun Tigers defeated Greenville in overtime Saturday, Dec. 22 win the Calhoun Christmas Basketball Tournament played in Letohatchee.
Greenville and Calhoun battled to an overtime before Calhoun downed Greenville 74-72.
For the tournament. Calhoun finished first, Lindon second and Greenville third.
According to Calhoun head basketball coach Jim Hunter, Jakeem Davison led Calhoun
with 22 points while DeAngelo Miles scored 13..
For Greenville Kent Riley scored 16 points, Jararrus Cheatem 13 and Marvin Davidson 15.
On Friday, Dec. 21 Calhoun downed Luverne 80-75.
For Calhoun Davison scored 13 points, Jamine Jordan 26, Rico Knight 10 and Jeffery Moss 19.
For Luverne Johnathan Chambers scored 14 and Danta Hall scored 22.
Calhoun will play Jeff Davis on Thursday, Dec. 27 at 3 p.m. in the Dwight Madison classic.
