Trooper Charles Dysart said the accident involved a 2010 Kenworth and a 1995 GE Engine.

It was reported by State Troopers that CSX was contacted.

Carla Groleau, CSX  director of corporate communications, located in Jacksonville, Fla. said the train originated in Grand Rapids, Mich., headed to New Orleans and included two engines and 89 cars carrying grain.

She said the track was cleared around 1 p.m. central time.

CSX does investigate such accidents, Groleau said, “But of course because it is a vehicular incident the local law enforcement leads that investigation (State Troopers).”
