Thomas said Fort Deposit Police were involved in a chase and there is an investigation, but that was all he could say at this time.

Sgt. Donna Mackey of the Montgomery Police Department said Montgomery Police received an alert of a vehicle headed toward Montgomery that matched the description of a vehicle involved in a bank robbery earlier in the day in Fort Deposit.

She said an officer made contact with the vehicle, attempted a traffic stop and both a car and foot chase ensued.

She said three suspects were apprehended but no charges have been made at this time.
