The SABIC Innovative Plastics facility in Burkville is conducting their annual United Way Campaign.

The company said that the United Way organization provides an opportunity to give back to local communities, and that SABIC is proud of their strong and enduring tradition of helping people in need.

As a part of this year’s fundraising campaign, SABIC will be hosting a golf tournament at the Arrowhead Country Club in Montgomery on Sept. 23 at 1 p.m. that will be open to the public.
Participation in the tournament will benefit the River Region/Dallas County/Selma chapters of the United Way.

“I am excited that we are taking the opportunity to turn a fun event into one that will benefit our local community,” said Cassandra Brown, a SABIC employee. “We are encouraging the public to partner with us in giving back and lending a helping hand to those in need.”
