One man was injured in a one-car accident off County Road 33 in Lowndes County, Monday morning.

Maurice Randell Watson, 21, of Letohatchee was injured when his car left the roadway and rolled over several times, according to Robyn Litchfield, spokesperson for the Alabama Department of Public Safety.

She said the accident occurred at about 10:30 a.m. and Watson, who was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected, was transported to Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery.

Litchfield state the extent of injuries was not known. She said the accident is being investigated by Alabama State Troopers.
