Tuesday night’s storms resulted in trees down in Lowndes County in the Calhoun area and a voluntary flood evacuation in the Mt. Willing/Fort Deposit area, according to EMA Director Walter Hill.

A tree fell on a power line and caught fire on County Road 33 and was put out by the Calhoun Fire Department, he said.
